Costa Tourism has hired two more staff members as staffing and staffing agency Costa Rica Tourism announced on Monday.
The agency has been hiring for its travel agency since July, when the agency hired four full-time employees.
The hiring of two more full-timers, who will be based in the Costa Rican capital, was announced in a press release.
Costa Tourism says the hiring of the new staff members comes as the agency continues to improve its customer experience, particularly on its online booking site, travelagent.com.
“The Costa Tourism team continues to expand its online experience, and we’re committed to maintaining the highest standards of customer service,” Costa Tourism said in a statement.
The new hires will join a team that includes four full time and two part-time staff members, Costa Rica Travel and Tourism Association president Carlos Rodriguez told reporters.
The Costa Tourism statement also noted that the agency has also hired more than 300 new volunteers in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica’s tourism agency employs more than 500 people, and it operates more than 400 tourist sites.
