IPL Auction 2023: Full list of sold and unsold players

The IPL Auction 2023 witnessed the most expensive player in IPL history as Punjab Kings acquired Sam Curran for ₹18.5 crore.

Cameron Green, the Australian all-rounder, was almost the most expensive player, but he fell short and went to Mumbai Indians for ₹17.5 crore.

Ben Stokes was acquired by Chennai Super Kings for ₹16.25 crore, while Nicholas Pooran and Harry Brook also attracted high bids of ₹16 crore and ₹13.25 crore, respectively.

In the auction, Mayank Agarwal and Joe Root were purchased for ₹8.25 crore and ₹1 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, respectively. Shakib Al Hasan, Rilee Rossouw, Adam Zampa, and Joe Root, who initially went unsold, were later purchased in the accelerated auction.

GT, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Punjab Kings were among the teams that filled the gaps in their squads in the IPL 2023 auction held in Kochi.

The auction was a mini auction, but the anticipation and expectation around it were high. The following is a full list of sold and unsold players in the IPL 2023 Auction.

  • Kane Williamson from New Zealand (base price of ₹2 crore) was sold to Gujarat Titans for ₹2 crore.
  • Harry Brook from England (base price of ₹1.5 crore) was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for ₹13.25 crore.
  • Mayank Agarwal from India (base price of ₹1 crore) was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for ₹8.25 crore.
