Aryana Travel, which operates travel agencies across the U.S., Canada and Europe, announced Tuesday it has agreed to buy the travel company Crmr, which is based in Chicago.
Aryanas travel agency will be based in New York, and Crmr will be headquartered in Los Angeles, Crmr said in a news release.
Crmr is the world’s largest travel agency.
Its brands include Lonely Planet, Kia, AirBnb, StubHub, Uber and Booking.com.
It has over 2.7 million members in the U, Canada and the U., Dainese said in the release.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval, Daines said.
Crmr and Aryas travel agency have been partners for the past 12 years.
Crm operates over 40,000 flights per month to over 40 countries and territories around the world.
Crmi was founded in 2001 by a group of travelers, including the late Jerry Holley, who sold tickets on eBay and began the company.
In the wake of the financial crisis, Crm had to rely on crowdfunding to continue its business model, Dains said.
