The top travel agency stocks in the United States jumped on Wednesday after a major stock market decline.
Shares of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Alaska Airlines, United Continental, United Travel Group and JetBlue were up after the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell more than 300 points to 16,054.
The Nasdaq composite index fell 2.2%.
The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 both closed higher, while the Dow fell 2%.
The Dow is up more than 100 points in one day since Jan. 4, 2016.
The S&P 500 is up about 11% in one week.
The Nasqueens, the index’s broadest index, rose 3% on Wednesday, with the S &Q rising 5.4%.
The Russell 2000 index, a broad gauge of the S stock market, was up 1.4% in the session.
